An impressive effort by Mark Brackman lifted the Lancaster Barnstormers (23-16) to a 6-0 win over the Somerset Patriots on Wednesday at TD Bank Ballpark.

Brackman kept contact to a minimum, striking out 11 the Somerset Patriots (16-23) batters. The Lancaster Barnstormers' pitcher tossed nine innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

The Lancaster Barnstormers blew out the Somerset Patriots thanks to 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. A two-run home run by Tommy Everidge delivered the runs in the first. The Lancaster Barnstormers had two hits in the inning.

Everidge blasted two home runs for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Everidge went 2-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Everidge homered in the third innings.

Roy Merritt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
