The Evansville Otters fall 10-1 at the hands of the Windy City ThunderBolts

The Evansville Otters (36-42) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the Windy City ThunderBolts (46-31) dominated in a 10-1 win at Standard Bank Stadium.

A two-run home run by Brandon Decker and a two-run home run by Brandon Pearl helped the Windy City ThunderBolts score four runs in the seventh. The Windy City ThunderBolts had three hits in the inning.

Zach Aakhus did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Windy City ThunderBolts, reaching base three times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Taylor Black was solid at the plate for the Evansville Otters. Black went 2-4 and drove in one. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Tyson Corley improved to 4-6 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Matt Zielinski (6-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The Windy City ThunderBolts pounded the Evansville Otters pitching, as seven hitters combined for 12 hits, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored.
