The Rockford RiverHawks (29-35) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-1 to the Schaumburg Boomers (39-25) on Saturday.

While the Rockford RiverHawks led until the seventh inning, the Schaumburg Boomers worked their way back and took the lead on a three-run home run by Karexon Sanchez.

Sanchez racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Schaumburg Boomers. He homered in the seventh inning.

Robby Donovan picked up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. Donovan pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out two.

Nick Anderson (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
