Andreas' two-run home run gives the River City Rascals walk-off win over the Gateway Grizzlies, 6-5

A walk-off two-run blast from Chris Andreas brought home the winning run for the River City Rascals (20-13) in a 6-5 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies (16-17) at T. R. Hughes Ballpark on Friday.

Andreas racked up two RBIs on one hit for the River City Rascals. He homered in the ninth inning.

Curran Redal racked up two RBIs on three hits for the River City Rascals. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

The Gateway Grizzlies couldn't get anything going as long as Doug Shields was pitching. Shields held the Gateway Grizzlies hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Justin Gill got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Gill struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Richard Barrett (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
