Aaron Klinec brought home the winning run to give the Lake Erie Crushers (39-30) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Lake Erie Crushers hung on to beat the Rockford RiverHawks (30-39) 1-0 on Thursday.

The Rockford RiverHawks couldn't get anything going as long as Trevor Longfellow was on the mound. The Rockford RiverHawks managed just two hits off of Longfellow, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Ben Klafczynski recorded his third win of the year for the Lake Erie Crushers. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Mickey Cassidy couldn't get it done on the bump for the Rockford RiverHawks, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
