Jeremy Synan went 2-4 and hit a home run, helping the River City Rascals (40-43) to a 5-2 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (54-29) on Friday at Wuerfel Park.
He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.The River City Rascals got the win thanks in large part to Liam Ohlmann's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. Ohlmann allowed two earned runs on four hits and four walks over 7 2/3 innings.
Scott Dunn (5-4) took the loss for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
