The Florence Freedom (28-26) didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Traverse City Beach Bums (37-17) captured a blowout 9-2 win at Wuerfel Park.

A two-run double by Kyle Colligan and a two-run home run by Sean Gusrang helped the Traverse City Beach Bums score four runs in the fourth. The Traverse City Beach Bums had three hits in the inning.

Colligan had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits.

The Traverse City Beach Bums relied on Brooks Belter to eat up innings en route to the win. Belter allowed two earned runs, three hits and three walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Scott Moviel was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.

Jeff Flagg, Colligan, Gusrang and Jose Vargas helped lead the Traverse City Beach Bums. They combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
