The Evansville Otters (12-19) outlasted the Southern Illinois Miners (18-13) at Rent One Park, Marion, IL 4-2 on Wednesday after 10 innings.

With the score tied at two, Brett Chamberlain came to the plate and singled, bringing home Luis Parache and Nick Schwaner.

Chamberlain helped the Evansville Otters pull ahead for the duration in the tenth inning.

Chamberlain racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Evansville Otters. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the ninth and tenth innings.

Patrick Crider improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Evansville Otters. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Max Peterson (0-1) took the loss for the Southern Illinois Miners. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
