An ace performance by Tim Brown carried the Gateway Grizzlies (46-33) to a 5-0 win over the Washington Wild Things (33-45) on Tuesday at GCS Ballpark - Sauget, IL.

The Washington Wild Things' lineup had no answer for Brown. The Washington Wild Things managed just one hit off of Brown, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his nine innings of work.

Rogelio Noris blasted two home runs for the Gateway Grizzlies. Noris went 2-3 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Noris homered in the first and third innings.

Chris Smith ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out nine, and allowed five runs.
