The Rockford RiverHawks hang on against the Evansville Otters, 4-2

The Evansville Otters (35-37) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Rockford RiverHawks (31-41), and the Evansville Otters lost 4-2 to the Rockford RiverHawks after falling behind by four runs in the sixth inning.

The Evansville Otters scored two runs in the ninth on a fielder's choice and an RBI single by Billy Killian. Unfortunately, the Evansville Otters weren't able to take the lead back.

Kyle Schepel brought the heat against the Evansville Otters during his outing. The Evansville Otters managed just three hits off of Schepel, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.

Wynn Pelzer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
