The Windy City ThunderBolts fend off the Evansville Otters' late push, hold on 6-4

The Evansville Otters (16-24) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Windy City ThunderBolts (23-15) on Saturday, as the Evansville Otters fell 6-4 at Bosse Field after falling behind by three runs in the seventh inning.

The Evansville Otters scored on an RBI double by Taylor Black in the seventh inning and an RBI single by DeAngelo Mack in the eighth inning. Unfortunately, the Evansville Otters weren't able to take the lead back.

Bob Glover racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He homered in the fifth inning.

Blayne Weller picked up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. Weller allowed no earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the Evansville Otters' Mack. Mack went 3-4 and drove in one.

Adam Champion couldn't get it done on the bump for the Evansville Otters, taking a loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
