The Roswell Invaders (2-0) pounded the Alpine Cowboys (0-2) on Saturday 10-2 at Joe Bauman Park.

The Roswell Invaders scored five runs in the sixth on the Roswell Invaders scored in the sixth on a two-run single by Louis Martini, an RBI single by Bobby Webb, and a two-run single by Roche Woodard.

Cody Coffman racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Roswell Invaders. He homered in the first inning.

Blake Oliver got the win for the Roswell Invaders thanks to eight strikeouts. Oliver allowed two earned runs on eight hits and no walks over seven innings.

Matt Henriksen was solid at the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. Henriksen went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Pat Lemmo (0-1) took the loss for the Alpine Cowboys. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
