The Traverse City Beach Bums (6-8) and the Lake Erie Crushers (8-5) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Traverse City Beach Bums that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-1 win at Wuerfel Park.

It was a good day at the plate for the Traverse City Beach Bums' Jeff DeBlieux. DeBlieux went 2-2 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth innings.

Dylan Stoops got the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums thanks to six strikeouts. Stoops allowed one earned run on seven hits and one walk over seven innings.

Todd Kibby was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
