Miscue gives the White Sands Pupfish 11-10 walk-off victory over the Roswell Invaders

A walk-off error from Joe Borowski brought home the winning run for the White Sands Pupfish (28-39) in an 11-10 victory over the Roswell Invaders (43-23) at Griggs Park on Wednesday.

Borowski got on base three times in the game for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the sixth inning.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 21 runs and 21 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 12 pitchers in total.

Eric Kalbfliesh had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the eighth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Rob Rizzitelli recorded his first win of the year for the White Sands Pupfish. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.
