Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Alpine Cowboys (13-12) and the Garden City Wind (13-13), as the two teams put up 17 runs combined in a 9-8 the Alpine Cowboys win.

The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.

Ariel Adut had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Korie Vire brought the heat against the Garden City Wind during his outing. The Garden City Wind managed just one hit off of Vire, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Manny Colon racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Garden City Wind. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth innings.

Willie Ethington ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The Alpine Cowboys' Matt Henriksen, Seth McLemore and Adut combined for eight hits and three RBIs.
