Ryan Retz went 2-3, helping the Tucson Saguaros (17-6) to a 4-3 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego (5-18) on Thursday at Kino Veterans.
He singled in the first and seventh innings.Daniel Diaz picked up the win for the Tucson Saguaros. Diaz allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Santa Fe Fuego's Harold Rosario dominated the Tucson Saguaros' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.
