The White Sands Pupfish (5-7) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 7-4 to the Salina Stockade (4-7) on Sunday.

The Salina Stockade took the lead in the seventh inning on a two-run error.

Morgan Blatnik paced the Salina Stockade at the plate. Blatnik went 2-5 and drove in one. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh innings.

Skyler Janisse struck out eight, paving the way for a the Salina Stockade win. Janisse allowed four earned runs, 10 hits and three walks over nine innings.

Shawn Kahre (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
