The Everett jump on the SW Oregon early and coast to 13-1 win

The Everett (17-3) jumped out to an early lead on the SW Oregon (4-16) and captured a 13-1 victory on Saturday at Minnitti Field .

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Everett to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Andrew Ivelia, an RBI single by Aaron Avalos, an RBI single by Avalos, and an error in the first inning and an RBI triple by Bryce Steckler and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Everett.

Steckler had two extra-base hits for the Everett.

Christian Jarnagin picked up the win for the Everett. Jarnagin pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out two.

Jonathan Keltie (0-3) took the loss for the SW Oregon. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Everett easily handled the SW Oregon pitching as six hitters combined for 10 hits, six RBIs and eight runs scored.
