A great effort by Jordan Kraus spurred the Florence Freedom (24-33) to a 3-0 win over the Windy City ThunderBolts (27-30) on Wednesday at Standard Bank Stadium.
Kraus held the Windy City ThunderBolts scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up seven.
Mason Salazar racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the fifth inning.
Brady Muller (2-6) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
