Bass' walk-off double send the Windy City ThunderBolts home winners, 4-3

A walk-off double from Corey Bass brought home the winning run for the Windy City ThunderBolts (29-31) in a 4-3 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies in 10 innings at Standard Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Bass racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the tenth inning.

The Gateway Grizzlies (30-32)'s lineup had no answer for Zac Westcott. Westcott held the Gateway Grizzlies hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Austin Delmotte improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed one run over two innings. Delmotte struck out two, walked one and gave up two hits.

Kevin Jefferis (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
