Kolby DeHaas went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Wenatchee Valley (2-2) to an 8-7 victory in seven innings over the Centralia (2-2) on Monday at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.
He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fourth innings.Colton Turner reached base four times in the game for the Centralia. He singled in the fifth inning.
Josh Muneno brought the heat against the Wenatchee Valley during his outing. The Wenatchee Valley managed just one hit off of the the Centralia's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Even though Zace Lewis allowed six runs over four innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. Lewis struck out two, walked three and gave up six hits.
Brandon Olson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Centralia, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
