Jesus Solorzano was hot from the plate for the Normal CornBelters. Solorzano went 4-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.
Benjamin Libuda recorded his second win of the year for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Francisco Carrillo was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
