Dusty Robinson had two extra base hits, sparking the Schaumburg Boomers (21-17) to a 7-2 victory over the Washington Wild Things (19-18) on Saturday at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.He doubled in the second inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Gunnar Kines's six strikeouts were enough to push the Schaumburg Boomers past the Washington Wild Things. Kines allowed two earned runs on six hits and no walks over seven innings.
Andrew Woeck put together a nice outing. The Schaumburg Boomers managed just one hit off of Woeck, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.
