The Midwest Haymakers (4-7) didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, as the Canada A's (9-3) cruised to a blowout 9-2 win in seven innings at Palm Springs Stadium.

Colben McGuire improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Canada A's. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Jashawn McDaniel couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Midwest Haymakers, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
