The South Bay Storm take out the California Bees with help from Marley, 6-1

Jason Marley had two extra base hits, sparking the South Bay Storm (5-3) to a 6-1 victory over the California Bees (2-6) on Saturday at De Anza JC.

He homered in the second inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the California Bees' Young Lee. Lee went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.

Cole Goetz brought the heat against the South Bay Storm during his outing. The South Bay Storm managed just two hits off of Goetz, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Nick Maldonado got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over four innings. Maldonado struck out two, walked three and gave up two hits.

Dino Landucci IV ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The South Bay Storm were sparked by Isaiah Todd-Fitzhugh and Marley, who teamed up for three hits and five RBIs.
