Wednesday was a great day for Bryan Haar, as he hit two home runs to carry the Washington Wild Things (19-15) to a 6-4 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (10-24) at Wuerfel Park.
The Traverse City Beach Bums couldn't get anything going so long as Brian OKeefe was on the hill. The Traverse City Beach Bums managed just one hit off of OKeefe, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his two innings of work.
Will Kengor racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He doubled in the first innings and singled in the third inning.
Luke Barker was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
The Washington Wild Things were sparked by Haar and Austin Wobrock, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
