Boo Vazquez had three extra base hits, helping the Joliet Slammers (16-13) to a 5-1 victory over the Washington Wild Things (14-13) on Tuesday at CONSOL Energy Park.

Kaleb Ort picked up the win for the Joliet Slammers. Ort allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Matt Fraudin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

The Joliet Slammers were sparked by Charlie White and Vazquez, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
