Jimmy Yezzo collected three hits, sparking the Washington Wild Things (14-12) to a 7-3 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (13-12) on Sunday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Jordan Kraus was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Washington Wild Things batters and allowing three runs.

Connor Oliver rocked the Washington Wild Things with two home runs. Oliver went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Oliver homered in the sixth and eighth innings.

Sam Agnew-Wieland improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Washington Wild Things. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Kraus (1-2) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers.
