Haar helps the Washington Wild Things down the Lake Erie Crushers 4-2

Bryan Haar went 2-3 and hit a home run as the Washington Wild Things (13-12) took home a 4-2 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (13-11) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Saturday.

He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

The Lake Erie Crushers couldn't get anything going so long as Zac Grotz was on the hill. Grotz held the Lake Erie Crushers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Connor Oliver was hot from the plate for the Lake Erie Crushers. Oliver went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Chandler Jagodzinski had an impressive outing against the Washington Wild Things' lineup. Jagodzinski held the Washington Wild Things hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Brandon Hinkle improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Washington Wild Things. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. Hinkle struck out none, walked five and gave up two hits.

Brett Sullivan was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
