A seven-run explosion in the third inning lifted the Tacoma (18-5) to an 11-1 win in five innings over the Grays Harbor (1-16) at Minnitti Field on Saturday.
The Tacoma scored in the third on a sacrifice fly by Alex Hull, , a double by Ty Housden, a sacrifice fly by Taylor Adams, a single by Lucas Eliason, an RBI single by Isaiah Terry, a two-run single by Garrett Anderson, and a triple by Reed Johnson.
Terry went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Tacoma.
Garrett Westberg struck out five hitters en route to the the Tacoma win. Westberg allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks over five innings.
Josh Takagi was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.
