Barnes allows no runs to lead the Pierce past the Grays Harbor 11-0

Colten Barnes kept the Grays Harbor (1-12) off the board during his six innings of work and the Pierce (12-8) beat the Grays Harbor, 11-0.

Barnes struck out 10 and allowed no walks and four hits.

The offense exploded for the the Pierce in the first. The Grays Harbor had no answer as the Pierce scored six runs. The Pierce scored in the first on an RBI single by Gunnar Schubert, an RBI single by Matt Thompson, an RBI double by Rayven Kahana, an RBI single by Mac McCarty, and a two-run single by Andrew Barrera.

McCarty racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Pierce.

Josh Takagi (0-4) took the loss for the Grays Harbor. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked one and struck out one.
