Jake Vieth went 1-4 and hit a home run, helping the Tacoma (23-9) to a 5-4 victory over the Green River (3-25) on Saturday at Minnitti Field .

He homered in the first inning.

Dustin Wilson baffled the Green River, striking out seven batters. Wilson allowed one earned run on seven hits and one walk over eight innings.

Quinn Burcham racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Green River. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Garrett Smith got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Ikaika Nahaku (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
