Story by Narrative Science.

An awesome effort by Cody Anderson carried the Bellevue (32-16) to a 7-1 win over the Skagit Valley (25-19) on Friday at Skagit Valley.

The Bellevue got the win thanks in large part to Anderson's dominant, 13-strikeout performance. Anderson allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over eight innings.

The Bellevue blew out the Skagit Valley thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. A two-run double by Austin Pinorini helped the Bellevue score two runs in the eighth. The Bellevue had two hits in the inning.

Pat Siler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
