The Everett outdone by LaFave and the Bellevue, 6-5

Jordan LaFave collected three hits, sparking the Bellevue (26-14) to a 6-5 victory over the Everett (26-10) on Monday at Courter Field .

He singled in the fifth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

The Bellevue relied on Josh Thompson to eat up innings en route to the win. Thompson allowed four earned runs, three hits and six walks while striking out three over eight innings of work.

Ryan Sandifer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
