The Blue Mountain take out the Spokane with help from Ross, 5-4

Ben Ross collected three hits as the Blue Mountain (14-24) took home a 5-4 victory over the Spokane (22-16) at Blue Mountain on Saturday.

He singled in the first and fourth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Mitchell Cox was solid at the plate for the Spokane. Cox went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

Enrique Martinez had an impressive outing against the Blue Mountain's lineup. The Blue Mountain managed just two hits off of the the Spokane's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Trevor Oldham got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. Oldham struck out one, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Mitch Guiberson (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
