Story by Narrative Science.

A nine-run explosion in the fifth inning hoisted the Wenatchee Valley (3-11) to a 13-3 win in seven innings over the Blue Mountain (7-9) at Blue Mountain on Wednesday.

The Wenatchee Valley scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Tanner Angel, an error, a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Tanner Schwartz, an RBI double by Matt Garcia, a two-run single by Bryan Widener, and a sacrifice fly by Kolby DeHaas.

The Wenatchee Valley's Schwartz, Thomas Scheffler, Garcia and Angel combined for eight hits and six RBIs.
