An outstanding effort by Lucas Jungmann lifted the Everett (35-11) to an 8-1 win over the Olympic (16-26) on Monday at Legion Field.
Jungmann kept the Olympic off the board during his eight innings of work. Jungmann struck out three and allowed one walk and two hits.
The Everett's bats came to life in the seventh inning. The Everett's bats caught fire leading to seven runs. The Everett scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Bryce Steckler, a two-run single by Jacob Prater, an RBI single by Josh McIntyre, , and a two-run single by Tate Budnick.
Steckler had a hot bat for the Everett. Steckler went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs.
Jacob Price (2-2) took the loss for the Olympic. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked four and struck out five.
