Sunday was a great day for Joe Wainhouse, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Bellevue (17-5) to a 10-0 victory over the Olympic (8-10) at Legion Field in seven innings.
The Bellevue blew out the Olympic thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Bellevue scored two runs in the sixth on the Bellevue scored in the sixth on an RBI double by Antonio Henricksen and an error.
The Olympic couldn't get anything going so long as Dominic DeMiero was on the hill. DeMiero held the Olympic hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Kaden Slade-White (0-1) took the loss for the Olympic. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked six, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
The Bellevue were sparked by Lawyer Braun and Wainhouse, who teamed up for six hits and six RBIs.
