Spencer Bennion had two extra base hits, sparking the Columbia Basin (15-3) to a 1-0 victory over the Big Bend (11-3) on Wednesday at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.

Nick Crawford had an impressive outing against the Big Bend's lineup. Crawford held the Big Bend hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Karver Pate improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Columbia Basin. Pate struck out three, walked one and gave up one hit.

Chase Tunstall (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
