The Columbia Basin (11-2) beat the Linn-Benton (8-5) 12-7 on Saturday at Columbia Basin Baseball Field behind Cory Wills, who went 2-3.

He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Nick Crawford put together a nice outing. The Linn-Benton managed just two hits off of the the Columbia Basin's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Jordan Thompson racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Linn-Benton. He homered in the third inning.

Lane Evans pitched lights out for the Linn-Benton. Evans held the Columbia Basin hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Tanner Roundy improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Columbia Basin. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Nolan Bastendorff (2-1) took the loss for the Linn-Benton. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
