Trevor Stevens went 2-3, helping the Lake Erie Crushers (31-41) to a 3-0 victory over the Frontier Greys (35-38) on Friday at All Pro Freight Stadium.
He singled in the third and fifth innings.The Lake Erie Crushers got the win thanks in large part to Brad Duffy's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. The Lake Erie Crushers' pitcher gave up just five hits over five shutout innings.
Despite the loss, the Frontier Greys' Jordan Kraus dominated the Lake Erie Crushers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out seven.
Kraus couldn't get it done on the mound for the Frontier Greys, taking a loss.
