The White Sands Pupfish (32-23) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 15-1 win over the Roswell Invaders (31-25) at Joe Bauman Park.
The White Sands Pupfish scored six runs in the fifth on the White Sands Pupfish scored in the fifth on a groundout by Aaron Olivas, a three-run double by Michael Brandi, and a two-run home run by Wesley Wallace.
Wallace racked up three RBIs on four hits for the White Sands Pupfish.
Anthony Pastrana racked up nine strikeouts in the the White Sands Pupfish win. Pastrana allowed one earned run on three hits and five walks over five innings.
Ryan Calby ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out three.
