Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Alpine Cowboys (10-8) outscored the Roswell Invaders (10-7) 9-8 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 21 hits in the game.

Colby Gee racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

The Roswell Invaders' lineup had no answer for Robert Silky. The Roswell Invaders managed just three hits off of the the Alpine Cowboys' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Aaron Carman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Corey Lathram-Skillman couldn't get it done on the hill for the Roswell Invaders, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
