Langan was hot from the plate for the Sacramento Heat. Langan went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The South Bay Storm (8-14) couldn't get anything going so long as Langan was on the hill. Langan held the South Bay Storm hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

Gallagher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
