White leads the Windy City ThunderBolts to 9-6 win over the Washington Wild Things

An outstanding effort by Max White carried the Windy City ThunderBolts (41-54) to a 9-6 win over the Washington Wild Things (41-54) on Friday at CONSOL Energy Park.

White hit two home runs for the Windy City ThunderBolts. White went 3-5 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. White homered in the sixth and eighth innings.

The Washington Wild Things' Andrew Heck was perfect at the dish, going 5-5. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first, third, sixth, and ninth innings.

Pete Whittingslow improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Steve Messner was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
