He doubled in the fifth and seventh innings.The River City Rascals got the win thanks in large part to Tim Koons's dominant, six-strikeout performance. Koons allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks over five innings.
The Lake Erie Crushers were led by Jose Barraza's hitting. Barraza went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and eighth innings.
Brad Duffy ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
