Rick Teasley kept the Lake Erie Crushers (34-50) off the board during his six innings of work and the Southern Illinois Miners (55-30) beat the Lake Erie Crushers, 6-4.

Teasley struck out five and allowed two walks and four hits.

It was a good day at the plate for the Southern Illinois Miners' Frank Martinez. Martinez went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Boo Vazquez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Zach Morton couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lake Erie Crushers, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
