A walk-off two-run blast from Maxx Garrett brought home the winning run for the Washington Wild Things (29-36) in a 3-2 victory over the Florence Freedom (30-35) in 12 innings at CONSOL Energy Park on Saturday.

Garrett racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the twelfth inning.

Jonathan Kountis got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Ed Kohout couldn't get it done on the hill for the Florence Freedom, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
