Alex Tomasovich went 1-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Traverse City Beach Bums (33-21) to a 4-3 victory over the Evansville Otters (37-19) on Wednesday at Wuerfel Park.

Chuck Ghysels brought the heat against the Evansville Otters during his outing. Ghysels gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Evansville Otters' Preston Olson dominated the Traverse City Beach Bums' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Dane Phillips had a hot bat for the Evansville Otters. Phillips went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Connor Little (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
