Rick Teasley kept the Windy City ThunderBolts (26-37) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Southern Illinois Miners (42-22) beat the Windy City ThunderBolts, 5-0.

Teasley allowed five hits, two walks and struck out seven.

Michael Earley reached base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the seventh inning.

The Southern Illinois Miners couldn't get anything going as long as Tommy Nance was pitching. Nance held the Southern Illinois Miners hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Danny Jimenez (3-6) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
